Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per annum

Overview of the Role
As a CNC Programmer / Setter, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines. You'll work from technical drawings to produce precise components, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances while self-inspecting your completed work. This position is ideal for a candidate eager to develop their skills and advance their career within the engineering field.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines.
- Proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to working within tight tolerances.
- Experience with Fusion 360 is an advantage.
- Dynamic and proactive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program and set up CNC milling machines in accordance with specifications.
- Produce components by interpreting and working from technical drawings.
- Ensure quality control through self-inspection of completed jobs.
- Prepare machines for production based on works orders.
- Write and edit CNC programs as required.
