Colorectal Nurse
Hours – Full Time Monday to Friday
37.5 hours per week: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (with half an hour for lunch)

Are you a Registered Nurse or Staff Nurse (RGN/RN) looking for a new career with a global healthcare company and to progress to a Clinical Nurse Specialist role?
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our client’s company as a Colorectal Nurse. You’ll be hospital based, supporting patients after colorectal disease/cancer diagnosis, pre and post-surgery and also during outpatient clinics. You will also provide training and education for Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) across the Trust.
You will be part of a team of Staff Nurses, led by the Colorectal Nurse Manager, providing a nursing service that delivers patient centred care for those with a colorectal cancer or other colorectal diseases. You will help ensure the co-ordination of patient care across the clinical pathway in conjunction with multi-disciplinary HCPs. You also liaise with the community and continuing care teams to provide a seamless service between hospital and home for patients being discharged
To be considered for this important role you will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN/RN) that ideally meets the following criteria;
- Level 1 UK Registered Nurse (Adult)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Stoma, GI Surgery or Colorectal experience desirable but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
