IPS Group
Following a genuinely energising meeting with this client, one thing was clear – this is a brokerage that truly stands out from the rest. It’s a well-established, high-performing team, but with the energy, personality, and flexibility of a true independent. People here are trusted to get on with what they do best, backed properly, and given the platform to build something meaningful.
You’ll be brought in to focus on new business, but you won’t be left to figure it out alone. There is real structure behind the role, including a dedicated BDM generating leads, referrals coming through from an active client base, and a live pipeline you can start working straight away. You’ll also have a full support team behind you, so once you win a client, the ongoing servicing is taken care of, allowing you to stay focused on building relationships and generating income.
This is a genuinely outward-facing role. You’ll be meeting clients, building connections in the local market, attending events, and creating opportunities in a way that suits your style. The team encourages people to get out there, be visible, and take a proactive approach to winning business. It’s not about sitting behind a desk waiting for things to land, but equally it’s not a sink-or-swim environment – there is guidance, collaboration, and consistent support.
The work itself is varied and interesting. You’ll deal with a broad mix of clients, from local businesses through to more complex and niche risks, with access to a wide range of markets to get deals done properly. You won’t be boxed into a narrow lane or stuck writing repetitive business – there’s real scope to develop both your knowledge and your book.
The culture is a standout. It’s social, supportive, and built around people who enjoy what they do and want to succeed. There’s no heavy hierarchy, no politics, and a genuine team environment where people back each other. At the same time, expectations are clear – if you perform, you’re trusted, given flexibility, and allowed to manage your time in a way that works.
This role will suit someone who is confident building relationships, enjoys being out in front of clients, and is motivated by winning business. Whether you’re already an Account Executive or stepping into a more sales-focused role, what matters most is your attitude, your personality, and your ability to make things happen.
If you’re looking for a role where you can build a genuine book, be properly supported, and work in a business that values both performance and personality, this is one worth serious consideration.
