Commercial Account Handler
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Office Based
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a successful and growing insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong commercial insurance background who enjoys building client relationships and providing exceptional service. Working closely with clients and insurers, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries.
Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients

Processing policy renewals and ensuring competitive terms are achieved

Handling mid-term adjustments (MTAs) efficiently and accurately

Supporting new business activity, including obtaining and presenting quotations

Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and cover

Providing professional advice and outstanding customer service

Preparing renewal documentation and policy schedules

Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in line with compliance requirements

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers
About You
-
Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler or in a similar commercial insurance role

Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets

Experience dealing with renewals, MTAs, and new business

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively

Confident working within a team environment
Salary & Benefits

£28,000 – £40,000 per annum depending on experience
