Trial Balance Consulting
Mid Cornwall – £45,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be working with a highly successful, rapidly growing Cornish business to recruit an ambitious Commercial Finance Business Partner.
This isn't a reporting role. You'll be working alongside senior leaders, influencing commercial decisions, challenging assumptions and helping shape the future direction of a thriving business.
Joining at an exciting stage of growth, you'll become a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organisation, providing meaningful financial insight that drives better decision-making and supports continued commercial success.
Key responsibilities
* Business partnering with operational, commercial and senior leadership teams
* Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
* Producing insightful month-end reporting, variance analysis and performance commentary
* Developing and enhancing KPIs, dashboards and management information
* Identifying commercial risks and opportunities through financial analysis
* Delivering customer, product and profitability analysis
* Building financial models and supporting business cases for new opportunities
* Driving continuous improvements to reporting, processes and commercial performance
* Providing high-quality ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision making
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a commercially focused finance role. You'll be confident building relationships across the business, able to influence stakeholders at all levels and comfortable translating financial information into practical commercial recommendations. You'll possess excellent analytical skills, enjoy solving problems and be naturally curious about how a business operates.
Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or another product-led environment would be advantageous, although candidates from other commercial sectors are equally encouraged to apply.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance rather than simply report on it, we'd love to hear from you.
