Description
- Leading the commercial appraisal of new business opportunities, including pricing, bids and tenders.
- Developing financial models and business cases to support client proposals and contract negotiations.
- Analysing client profitability, identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve margins.
- Business partnering with Sales, Operations and senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the commercial function.
- Reviewing existing client contracts and performance to identify revenue growth and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Providing commercial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business performance.
- Driving continuous improvement across commercial processes, reporting and governance.
- Supporting a variety of commercial projects as the business continues to grow.
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Ideally come from professional services or consulting firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
- A track record of working in the business services sector is advantageous.
Job Offer
