Commercial Finance | FP&A | Business Partnering
Location: Crawley, West Sussex (3-4 days office / 1-2 days home)
Help shape the future of a growing healthcare business.
If you're looking for a finance role where you can genuinely influence commercial decisions—not just report the numbers—this could be exactly what you're looking for.
Medical Imaging Partnership and Prime Health are one of the UK's leading independent diagnostic imaging providers. Backed by Private Equity and entering an exciting period of growth, we're investing in new services, expanding our sites and building a finance function that plays a central role in business strategy.
As our Commercial Finance Manager, you'll be the trusted finance partner to our Operations Directors and senior leadership team, helping shape key decisions across the business.
This isn't a traditional finance role. It's fast-paced, commercially focused and gives you exposure that many larger organisations simply can't.
Why you'll love this role
– Own the Group forecasting and budgeting cycle.
– Influence commercial decisions that genuinely shape the business.
– Work directly with the Executive Chair, CEO, Board and Private Equity investors.
– Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance.
– Support new site developments, acquisitions and commercial growth projects.
– Enjoy a varied role where no two weeks look the same.
– Be trusted to make decisions and drive improvements.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the commercial finance lead for our operational teams, using financial insight to identify opportunities, challenge thinking and support business growth.
Your role will include:
– Owning forecasting, budgeting and long-term financial planning.
– Building financial models, business cases and investment appraisals.
– Partnering with Operations Directors to improve performance across multiple sites.
– Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
– Supporting tenders, new sites and M&A activity.
– Presenting financial insight to senior leaders and Board stakeholders.
– Building strong relationships across the business and with external partners.
About you
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with commercial curiosity and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
You'll ideally have:
– ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
– A background in M&A or Transaction Services (preferred).
– A few years' post-qualified experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
– Advanced Excel skills and experience building forecasting and financial models.
– Experience owning forecasting and budgeting processes.
– Strong business partnering skills with non-financial stakeholders.
– The confidence to challenge, influence and communicate with senior leaders.
– Experience working within an SME or Private Equity-backed business would be advantageous.
You'll thrive here if you are…
– A proactive self-starter who enjoys creating structure.
– Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
– Commercially minded and naturally curious.
– Confident making decisions independently.
– An excellent communicator who builds trusted relationships quickly.
– Someone who spots opportunities, not just problems.
What you'll get
Alongside a challenging and rewarding role with real influence, you'll enjoy a benefits package designed to support your career, wellbeing and future.
– 35 days' annual leave (including bank holidays)
– Private healthcare
– Enhanced pension through salary sacrifice
– Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
– Life assurance for added peace of mind
– Hybrid working
– The opportunity to influence Board-level decisions and help shape the future of a growing healthcare business
