Commercial Litigation Solicitor
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Associate or Senior Associate to join the growing Dispute Resolution team of a highly regarded national law firm in Manchester.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality commercial disputes, acting for SMEs, owner-managed businesses, national companies and larger corporate clients. You'll work closely with experienced partners on complex matters whilst enjoying genuine responsibility, direct client contact and excellent opportunities for progression.
The Role
You'll advise on a varied caseload including:
- Breach of contract disputes
- Shareholder, partnership and director disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Civil fraud matters
- Injunctive relief applications
- Commercial and business disputes
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
- High Court and County Court litigation
You will manage your own files, assist on larger and more complex disputes, build strong client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Approximately 3-8 years' PQE, although applications outside this range will be considered
- Strong commercial litigation experience gained at a recognised regional or national law firm
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial disputes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- The ambition to progress within a supportive and growing team
