The Role
As Compliance & Quality Coordinator, you will support the quality, compliance and food safety of incoming raw materials and packaging, ensuring products meet company and regulatory standards.
You'll play a key role in supplier compliance, non-conformance investigations, audits and continuous improvement activities, working closely with Technical, Quality and Operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake inspections of ingredients and packaging
- Ensure materials meet specifications and food safety requirements
- Monitor Certificates of Analysis and supplier documentation
- Investigate non-conforming materials and implement controls
- Coordinate raw material sampling and testing
- Support supplier compliance activities
- Assist with quality investigations and customer complaints
- Participate in internal audits and traceability exercises
- Support technical and quality improvement projects
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation
- Work closely with operational teams to uphold quality standards
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within food manufacturing, quality assurance, technical compliance or food safety environments.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, production or FMCG
- Experience in a Quality, Technical, Compliance or Food Safety role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- HACCP qualification
- Food Safety qualification
- Internal Auditor training
- Food Science or Science-related qualification
- Experience with supplier compliance and specifications
