Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Computer Science Lecturer delivering T levels and BTEC at an FE College in Greater Manchester for the new academic year in 2026

Basic Job Description

  • Start date 17 August 2026
  • Full time- 5 days a week – 37.5 hours per week
  • Teaching T levels (Year 1 and 2) and a little bit of BTEC
  • Teaching to 16-18 year olds
  • Ongoing long term sickness at least until December/ Christmas time, could be extended
  • £32-40 pound per hour
  • FE College in Greater Manchester
  • Looking for a T Level specialist and Must have experience in delivering the T levels on computer science/ IT course
  • Must have DBS on the update service

Responsibilities of this role as a Computing Lecturer:

  • Working in the Computing Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the College's standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • Delivering T Levels and BTEC Computer Science and IT

    Requirements of this role as a Computing Lecturer:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential
  • Experience of delivering the subject and T Level course.
  • Computer Science/ Computing/ IT or similar related qualifications to degree level is essential
  • A current DBS on the update service
