The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their understanding of technology, programming, and computational thinking through engaging and creative lessons. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Computer Science for candidates who are interested and suitably experienced.

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
- Possess strong subject knowledge, including programming and core computing concepts
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to helping every student achieve their full potential
- Enjoy contributing to the wider life of the school and department
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Computer Science lessons
- Teach topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, and computational thinking
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support students' academic success and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, such as coding clubs and technology initiatives
