Are you a Computer Science Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive Uttoxeter-based school?
Astro Education is currently working with one secondary school in Uttoxeter that is seeking a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a 0.8 FTE position, starting either immediately or in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a single school environment with the potential for a long-term or permanent appointment.

The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching
- Support students in developing programming and digital skills
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Contribute to the wider school department where required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Confident classroom management skills
- Adaptable, professional and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
