Deliver great customer outcomes and support key connections projects from start to finish
As a Connections Customer Advisor for Northern Gas Networks (NGN), you will be at the heart of delivering seamless gas connection projects from start to finish. You will take ownership of the design and quotation process, producing accurate, compliant solutions that meet both technical standards and commercial needs, all while putting the customer first.
Working across a varied mix of standard, non-standard and diversion projects, you will manage timelines, produce clear and competitive quotes, and act as the single, trusted point of contact throughout the customer journey.
It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where your attention to detail, ability to juggle priorities and commitment to great customer service will make all the difference; keeping projects on track and customers informed every step of the way.
In this role you will
- Deliver high-quality customer service throughout the connections process
- Produce accurate, compliant designs and quotations for connection works
- Act as a single point of contact, guiding customers through their journey
- Ensure GSOS standards (4, 5 & 6) are met and minimise lead times
- Manage customer queries and complaints through to resolution
- Carry out audit corrections and respond to error/expiry reports promptly
- Work collaboratively across teams to support delivery and improvements
- Contribute ideas and feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
We are looking for
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Understanding of end-to-end customer or process delivery
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Please note full training will be provided
Desirable – Knowledge of SAP tools, alongside an understanding of connections design principles, industry standards, and GSOS and pricing principles
