We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Construction Lecturer to inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support our students from diverse backgrounds in achieving their career and life ambitions.
About the Role:
- Teaching Responsibilities: You will teach students of varying abilities from Level 1 to Level 3. Your role will involve closely working with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
- Industry Engagement: With your valuable industry experience, you will play a key role in promoting the courses across the Construction curriculum area, participating in marketing events, and sharing your experiences.
- Student Support: Engage and support students, helping them to meet their educational and professional goals.
Skills and Experience:
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Qualifications: Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent). A qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and articulating clearly to class groups.
- Administrative Skills: Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.
