Job Opportunity: Senior Solicitor/Associate – Contentious Construction
Location: Glasgow (hybrid and flexible working options available)
Overview:
A leading Construction & Engineering disputes team is seeking a Solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE to join a busy and collaborative group. The role offers the chance to work on complex, high-value disputes across Scotland and the UK, advising clients including developers, funders, insurers and contractors.
Role Requirements:
- 1-5 years' post-qualification experience in contentious construction matters
- Knowledge of litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation processes
- Ability to advise on risk, commercial strategy and resolution options
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building lasting relationships
Skills
- Advocacy experience and confidence in hearings and tribunals
- Strong analytical and drafting ability
- Clear, adaptable communication skills
- Collaborative approach for large, multi-party cases
