Do you have a background in construction and a passion for helping young people succeed?
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a Construction Tutor for a brand-new Alternative Provision opening in Towcester this October.
You'll deliver engaging, practical construction lessons that equip students with valuable vocational skills while helping them develop confidence, teamwork and employability. This role is ideal for someone with industry experience who enjoys mentoring young people and inspiring them through hands-on learning.
Teaching qualifications are welcomed but not essential, as comprehensive training and ongoing support can be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver practical construction sessions in a safe learning environment.
- Support students to gain industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
- Promote excellent health and safety practices.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support individual learning plans.
We're Looking For
- Experience working within the construction industry.
- A positive role model with excellent communication skills.
- An interest in education and mentoring young people.
- Teaching or assessor qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
