This is a fantastic opportunity for an Ecologist to join a well-established environmental consultancy offering long-term career progression, exposure to varied projects and a positive team-focused culture. Working from the Wolverhampton office, the Ecologist will play a key role in supporting ecological assessments and surveys across a range of sectors. Responsibilities will include carrying out field surveys, collecting and analysing ecological data, preparing reports and working alongside colleagues, clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. The Ecologist will have the opportunity to contribute to projects from initial assessment through to completion, combining site-based work with office and report-writing duties.

Requirements:
- Experience working within ecology, environmental consultancy or a related discipline
* Understanding of UK ecological legislation, habitats and protected species
* Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical documentation
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport for site visits
* Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship restrictions
* Willingness to travel as part of the role
* Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Wolverhampton
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
