Description
The Consumer Credit Lawyer will be:
- Advising on FCA-regulated consumer credit and lending matters
- Supporting product development and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Partnering with business teams to manage legal risk
- Drafting and negotiating finance and consumer credit documentation
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and advising on impacts
Profile
The Consumer Credit Lawyer should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ PQE in finance or consumer credit
- Experienced in FCA-regulated consumer lending frameworks
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating financial services documentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-house or financial services environment
