G2 Legal Limited
Are you an experienced Licensed Conveyancer or qualified Conveyancer looking for a change away from fee earning?
My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Conveyancer keen to take on a new and exciting challenge within a non–fee-earning role. This is a home-based role; however, you will be required to travel UK-wide on a bi-weekly basis, visiting panel law firms.
This role does involve a considerable amount of travel. You will be auditing firms twice a month for three days and will be expected to attend the office one day a month. The rest of the time will be spent working from home. The office is Merseyside-based, with most of the panel in the North West/Midlands region. It could accommodate a candidate from anywhere across this area.
The main purpose of the role will be to support the Legal Services Manager in ensuring that formed relationships with the firm’s panel firms continue to offer excellent service delivery and capacity management for all remortgage and conveyancing services. This will include ensuring the services it offers are compliant with the relevant rules and regulations associated with each product. You will also be in the vanguard of a new project the firm is working on right now.
Duties include: • Provide support in the process management and improvement for both manual and case-managed processes • Produce and promote best practice • Continuously improve its processes to eliminate cost and improve service • Provide support for the Legal Services Manager to achieve the delivery of a risk management procedure to monitor and control the risks associated with outsourcing to third parties • Carry out Audit and Development reviews of panel law firms across England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland • Develop a remote review process • Be responsible for ensuring that firms complete all of their action points in relation to their Audit and Development reviews and that all outcomes are reported to the appropriate departments • Be the escalation point of contact for the business for the law firm service issue process • Provide management information and reporting to the Company • Assist other members with their projects as opportunities arise • Attend internal and external meetings as required
The firm has excellent staff retention within a great working environment and offers an excellent benefits package, including travel expenses, car allowance, and pension.
A truly rare chance for an experienced Conveyancer to do something very different while using their core skills. The role will best suit a capable fee earner keen to utilise their talents in a new way.
