Conveyancing Paralegal
Our client based in Chelmsford with excellent transport links , have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing Department. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience of working in a Conveyancingdepartment.
About the Role
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients/developers/brokers
- Processing client’s initial onboarding documentation, carrying out ID Checks, reviewing proof of funds and progressing matters through the early stages of new build transactions
- Providing quotes to prospective clients using our online quote tool
- Land Registry Direct system application forms
- Completing Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches
- Preparing completion statements
- Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals
- Dealing with NHBC Warranty portals
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry forms
- Building up a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties
About You
- Ideally two years or more working within a Conveyancing department carrying out Residential Conveyancing transactions
- Experience supporting multiple Fee Earners
- New build experience would be useful, but not essential
- Confident, clear, and articulate communication skills both orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a planned and organised way with the ability to multitask
- Experience of using InfoTrack case management training will be provided
