Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, an established and highly regarded law firm is looking to expand its Residential Property team with the appointment of a Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who not only has strong technical experience in residential conveyancing, but who also genuinely enjoys the work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding client experience.
This role offers the chance to combine a full caseload with team leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for a senior conveyancer ready to step up or an experienced professional seeking more influence and ownership.
The Role
You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, while also playing a key role in leading, supervising, and mentoring a team within the department.
This position is fully office-based to ensure effective collaboration, supervision, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions end-to-end
- Delivering a high standard of client care and communication throughout
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting conveyancing assistants/fee earners
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes, SLAs, and regulatory standards
- Meeting individual and team billing and performance targets
- Managing financial aspects of files, including billing and cash collection
- Supporting business development through conversion of enquiries and cross-selling
- Maintaining accurate case and client data using case management systems
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the team
About You
We are keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about residential property work and enjoy being part of a collaborative, professional environment.
You will likely be:
- A Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
- Experienced in handling a traditional residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Confident in delivering excellent client service and building relationships
- Commercially aware and comfortable working towards targets
- An organised, proactive and detail-focused professional
- Interested in (or already experienced in) mentoring or supervising others
