Our client, a stunning countryside hotel, restaurant, and events venue near Bishop's Stortford, is looking for an experienced Cook to join their friendly and professional kitchen team.
Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the venue caters for weddings, private functions, and events, and offers a range of dining experiences for both visitors and local guests.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and presentation standards.
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef as required.
- Contributing to menu changes and daily specials.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Experience with fresh food preparation and cooking.
- Passion for producing quality food.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the rural location.
