Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established company based in Watford that is looking to for a Copywriter to join their content team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a copywriter or product cataloguer with a background in e-commerce, retail, or product content management. Working within a structured and collaborative environment, you will be responsible for producing accurate, informative and customer-focused content across a wide range of products and digital platforms.
Working alongside an established team of copywriters, you will play an important role in ensuring product information is clear, consistent, compliant and aligned with company standards.
Location: Watford (Fully Office-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with detailed product information, takes pride in accuracy and is looking to join a stable and professional organisation where quality content plays a key role in the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce clear, accurate and engaging copy for product descriptions, website content, reviews and landing pages
- Maintain and update product content, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
- Review existing website copy and identify opportunities to improve clarity, consistency and customer experience
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather product information and ensure content accuracy
- Support the delivery of content for brand and marketing initiatives
- Ensure all website copy follows SEO best practices while remaining informative and customer-focused
- Adhere to brand guidelines and internal content standards
- Contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a copywriting, product content, cataloguing, or e-commerce content role
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt writing style to suit different product categories and audiences
- Experience working with large volumes of product or website content
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Happy to work in a fully office-based role in Watford
