We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Telford that's looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, develop your confidence, and make a real impact on students' learning.

What you'll be doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into lessons when teachers are absent and help keep learning on track. You'll:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Keep students focused, engaged, and motivated
  • Manage classroom behaviour using the school's policies and routines
  • Support students as they work independently
  • Create a calm and purposeful learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff

You won't be expected to plan lessons or mark work, making this an excellent stepping stone for anyone considering teacher training or a career in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
