Are you looking for flexible work in education from September? We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Solihull that is looking to recruit reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support them on a day-to-day supply basis throughout the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced Cover Supervisors, teaching assistants looking to take the next step, or individuals with experience working with young people.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence leading a class and following school policies.
- A flexible, professional, and reliable approach.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people's education.
