The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Aylesford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive credit professional to take ownership of the credit control function and lead from the front.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day credit control function
- Lead, motivate, and develop the credit control team
- Monitor aged debt and implement effective collection strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure timely payments
- Review and improve existing credit control processes and procedures
- Allocate cash, reconcile accounts, and resolve complex queries
- Produce regular reports on debtor performance and KPIs
- Work closely with senior management to reduce risk and improve cash flow
About You
- Proven experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role, ideally at a supervisory or management level
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with finance systems and Excel
- Proactive, driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
