Your new role
As a Credit Controller, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely payment of invoices and minimising aged debt. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain accurate records. Key duties include:
- Proactive chasing of outstanding invoices by phone and email
- Managing credit limits,
- Resolving billing discrepancies and collaborating with internal teams
- Producing aged debt reports and supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining strong client relationships while enforcing credit terms
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in credit control
- Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with senior client contacts
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational ability
- A proactive, resilient approach to reducing aged debt and improving cash flow
- Competence with finance systems and Excel
