The National Customer Interaction Department is seeking a talented Video Editor to join its Communications team. Supporting communications for more than 50,000 colleagues across Great Britain and Ireland, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging multimedia content across a variety of internal channels, with a particular focus on video production. From developing concepts and storyboards to filming, editing, and managing agency relationships, you will oversee the end-to-end production process while contributing to impactful communications that support business objectives and colleague engagement.

Your New Role

• Creation of engaging multimedia content across a range of internal channels, including written
  communications, graphic design, digital assets, thumbnails, long and short-form video reels
• Videography; from concept development and script writing from storyboarding through to filming,
  editing and managing creative agencies
• Maintaining strong relationships with Key Stakeholders of all levels across the business
• Maintaining strong relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of materials
  produced
• Creation of project briefs and communications
• Organisation of events and video shoots
• Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
• Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies
• Supporting the delivery of the departmental strategy

About You

• Previous experience working in a communications or marketing department
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Filming experience
• Copy writing experience
• Script writing experience
• Video pre-production planning including storyboards, scripts and shot lists
• Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
• Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and able to use initiative

Desirable:

• Proficient in Design Software
• Skilled in project management
• Experience with filming, camera equipment and editing short business videos
• Working with creative agencies to produce high-quality videos

• Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840
• 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (changing to 1 day a week remote working from January 2027)
