Customer Service Agent
Location: Egham, Surrey
Salary: Competitive DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, shifts between 7:00am – 7:00pm
CTR Select is recruiting on behalf of their client based in Egham, and they are seeking a Customer Service Agent to join their Service Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to support key international clients, managing service requests from initial contact through to resolution while ensuring service levels and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer service and support enquiries.
- Manage support cases through their full lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform first-line diagnosis and qualification of issues.
- Coordinate engineers, logistics, travel arrangements, and spare parts as required.
- Escalate issues appropriately and within agreed service levels.
- Schedule preventative maintenance visits.
- Liaise with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure effective communication.
- Produce reports and participate in customer review meetings and conference calls.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a customer service, helpdesk, service desk, or support role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with ticketing or incident management systems.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with SAP.
- Exposure to AV, VC, or technology support environments.
