Data Analyst
Daventry | Circa £45,000 | 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Office-based (4 days per week)
We're partnering with an exciting and growing automotive manufacturer in Daventry to recruit a Data Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business during a period of growth, with genuine potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a highly analytical position, sitting between Engineering and Supply Chain. You'll translate engineering data into supply chain requirements, maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and master data, analyse stock and parts, investigate discrepancies, and provide the insight needed to keep production moving efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain BOMs, master data and MRP accuracy.
- Analyse and compare engineering parts, stock and supply chain data.
- Translate manufacturing BOMs into supply chain requirements.
- Investigate data discrepancies and support engineering change implementation.
- Produce insights and reporting to improve business performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, processes and systems.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has around 1+ years' experience working in a similar role
- Is confident using Microsoft Excel to analyse data.
- Has strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Enjoys solving problems and investigating data.
- Is driven, proactive and keen to embrace new technology and smarter ways of working.
- Can communicate effectively across Engineering, Production and Supply Chain teams.
Experience with BOMs, MRP/ERP systems or engineering master data would be an advantage, but we're also keen to hear from ambitious graduates with relevant placements or early career experience.
