An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer (GCP) to join a fast-growing business in London is looking for a hands-on engineer to support and evolve their data platform.
- Based in London
- 2 days a week in the office
- 3 months initially
- Start date: ASAP
- Up to £375 per day Outside Ir35
The Job
As the Data Engineer (GCP), your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and optimising data pipelines and workflows within Google Cloud Platform
- Working extensively with BigQuery to process large-scale datasets
- Integrating and managing data from Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager
- Supporting reporting and dashboarding across the business (currently using Domo)
- Handling both BAU data operations and project-based delivery
- Contributing to rebuilding parts of the data stack and improving automation
- Supporting wider business teams including Finance and Ad Ops with data needs
- Driving efficiencies and improvements, including AI-driven processes
You
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, particularly BigQuery
- Proven ability to build and manage scalable data pipelines and data flows
- Experience working with Google Analytics and marketing/ad data sources
- Comfortable supporting reporting and dashboarding tools
- Able to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
- Strong prioritisation skills across BAU and project work
- Experience in media, publishing, or direct-to-consumer environments is highly beneficial
