The Role
We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a high-performing Data & Analytics team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines while ensuring the reliability, scalability and quality of a centralised data platform that supports key business and investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimise data pipelines that ingest and process data from a range of internal and external sources
- Build and enhance scalable data platforms that support changing business and technical requirements
- Monitor, maintain and improve data systems to ensure performance, reliability and data accuracy
- Implement testing, validation and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent and reliable data delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions that support business objectives
What They're Looking For
- Strong experience designing and developing scalable data pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks and/or Azure technologies
- Experience working with tools such as Git and Airflow
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to test, maintain and improve data platforms
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality, dependable data solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within collaborative teams
