£750 per day
Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh or Bristol
Hybrid working – 2 days per week onsite
We're working with a major UK financial services organisation that is building out a new Data Resilience capability within its Chief Data and Analytics function.
This is a high-impact contract role focused on strengthening the resilience of critical data services, supporting regulatory compliance and embedding new strategies, operating models and control frameworks across a complex enterprise environment.
You'll play a key role in translating regulatory and business requirements into practical technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow, data modelling, governance and operational resilience.
The role
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the ongoing development of the Data Resilience solution within ServiceNow
- Translating regulatory and business requirements into technical tooling requirements
- Maintaining resilience-focused datasets, asset relationships and dependencies
- Mapping end-to-end data flows supporting Important Business Services
- Identifying vulnerabilities across critical data services and processes
- Coordinating BAU Data Resilience processes, attestations and control activity
- Supporting the development of resilience dashboards and reporting
- Producing user stories, workflows, data models and control documentation
- Working with Power BI teams to improve visibility of the organisation's Data Resilience position
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions with technical and business stakeholders
- Contributing to Agile delivery across the full solution lifecycle
- Supporting audit and regulatory scrutiny through accurate, complete and well-maintained evidence
What we're looking for
You'll need strong hands-on experience across:
- ServiceNow GRC
- ServiceNow CMDB modelling
- ServiceNow Discovery
- Flow Designer
- Workflow automation
- Data models, asset relationships and complex data flows
- Data resilience principles, including integrity, availability, recovery and encryption
- Requirements gathering and business analysis
- User stories, process workflows and solution documentation
- Data quality, governance and control frameworks
- Agile delivery environments
- Excel and Microsoft 365 for analysis, MI and reporting
- Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Operational resilience, risk or regulated financial services environments
You'll also need to be confident engaging senior stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear business insight and identifying resilience risks across complex data and technology landscapes.
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as PRA SS1/21, FCA PS21/3 or DORA would be highly advantageous.
