Our client, a well-established and modern dental laboratory based in Sheffield, is seeking an experienced Dental CAD/CAM Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled dental technician with a passion for digital dentistry to work in a progressive laboratory environment equipped with the latest technology.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the laboratory’s digital workflow. Salary will be dependent on experience and can be negotiated for candidates who can demonstrate proficiency across the full digital production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Scanning, designing, nesting, milling and 3D printing restorations
- Designing digital diagnostic cases, crowns, bridges, implant restorations and implant planning cases
- Maintaining and updating the in-house prescription management system
- Supporting general laboratory organisation and workplace cleanliness
- Managing stock control and materials inventory
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Dental Technician within a CAD/CAM environment
- Proficiency with Exocad, milling software and 3D printing technologies
- Ability to work confidently using both digital and traditional dental laboratory techniques
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently when required
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively and maintain excellent timekeeping
