Deputy Manager, Children's Residential Home, EBD, safeguarding, leadership, residential childcare and Ofsted. We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager, Team Leader or Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home in South East London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive provider where you can develop your leadership skills, make a genuine difference to young people's lives and progress your career towards Registered Manager level.
The Role
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead and motivate the staff team
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and care
- Conduct staff supervision and support development
- Deputise in the Manager's absence
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements
Experience within a children's residential setting
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong safeguarding knowledge
Passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people
Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification desirable
