Are you a Design Manager with experience working within the Commercial refurbishment and fitout sector looking for a new opportunity?
We are now in the market for a intermediate Design Manager to join a leading contractor in London, offering a broad range of services including structural & envelope intervention, detail and build, traditional contracting particularly focusing on refurbishment and fitout projects typically ranging from £500k to over £20million.

Paying up to £80,000 + package
Due to rapid growth and key structuring across the brand, establishing three divisions they are now looking for a Design Manager to work alongside the Principal Design Lead running vertical across the business.
Their in-house designers seamlessly integrate with existing professional teams, providing everything from full design and build services to light-touch coordination, all while retaining the design intent.
- Reporting into the Senior Design Manager and Principal Design Lead you will collaborate with the design team for technical solutions and pitching support
- With the understanding of building processes and procedures against building regulations.
- You should be commercially aware and support the commercial team to identify opportunities arising from design development and equally, manage change control communication that arises from design development
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the design processes from PCSA, tender stage through to completion. With an architectural building background coming from either a practise with a proven track record in delivering projects working with a main contractor or direct from a contracting background. Bridging the gap between the scope of works, clients and contractors, as well as working directly with developers and landlords.
