I’m supporting one of my clients in Huddersfield who are looking to add a Desktop / EUC Support Engineer to their internal IT team. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting users across the business, so it suits someone who enjoys being visible, helpful and the go-to person for day-to-day IT support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1st/2nd line support across Windows, M365, Teams and core business applications
- Managing user accounts, permissions and access (AD / Azure AD / M365)
- Supporting hardware, desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals
- Handling joiners, movers and leavers processes
- Troubleshooting network, connectivity and printing issues
- Escalating to senior engineers or external partners where required
- Maintaining documentation, asset records and IT processes
- Supporting office-based users and resolving issues face-to-face
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a Desktop Support / 2nd Line / EUC role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, M365, Teams and basic networking
- Confident supporting users onsite and resolving issues directly
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to prioritise, stay organised and work well under pressure
