Working with a global financial services organisation who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help deliver a high-profile project.
Details
Location – London
Hybrid – 3 days / week in office
Duration – Initially 6 months
Rate – £650-£750 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Skills and Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in a similar DevOps engineering role
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EKS (Kubernetes), is a must.
- Proven expertise in cloud deployments, architecture design, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java).
- Deploying and managing Java Spring applications using Maven.

- Highly proactive and ability to take ownership
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, financial services experience or investment banking
