About the role:
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a confident and hardworking apprentice to join their team to provide support to their business support team! If working for a company who take the effects of global warming seriously then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop your account management skills by supporting existing customers, using CRM and business systems to spot opportunities to grow their business with us.
- Develop your data and sales skills by using customer purchase history and sales reports to spot trends and opportunities to help grow the business.
- Develop your relationship-building skills by keeping in touch with customers through phone calls, emails, video calls and face-to-face visits.
- Learn how to spot opportunities to recommend extra products or services that could help customers and meet their business needs.
- Build your organisation and systems skills by keeping customer details, quotes, sales activity and upcoming opportunities up to date on the Sage system.
- Build your confidence in customer outreach by getting back in touch with customers who have not ordered recently, using Monday.com to help identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Develop your teamwork and communication skills by working closely with Customer Service, Purchasing and Operations to make sure customers receive a smooth, helpful service
- Build your customer service and problem-solving skills by responding to customer questions quickly and professionally, making sure they have a positive experience from start to finish.
- Build your product and industry knowledge by learning about the company’s products, services, customers and the markets they work in.
Salary: £23,296 per annum.
Working hours: 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm Friday.

Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
