Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to various sites to carry out high-quality cleaning services while safely operating a company vehicle. This role requires excellent attention to detail, good time management, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle safely to and from designated sites.
- Carry out cleaning duties at residential, commercial, or communal properties to a high standard.
- Clean communal areas, offices, stairwells, kitchens, washrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces.
- Remove litter and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortages.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
- Follow health and safety policies, including COSHH regulations.
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, or damage found on site.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and residents.
- Complete daily work records and report completed tasks to management.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous experience in a cleaning role.
- Good knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working within social housing, facilities management, or commercial cleaning.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
- Experience using cleaning machinery such as scrubber dryers or carpet cleaners.
- Basic IT skills for completing digital job sheets.
