As a the Regional Driver Assessor Team Leader you will ensure the safety and competence of our commercial vehicle drivers, and be responsible for practically assessing drivers in situations such as post-accident, pre-employment and annual refreshers.
The role covers the Southregion (Bedford, Haverhill, Dartford, Slough and Basingstoke) and can be based at any of the named sites.
You will be working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week) and will be paid £31,000.00 per annum.

Purpose of the role
They will maintain assessment records and regularly provide these to stakeholders. The regional driver assessor is a regional role, which will require travel across the network to conduct assessments as required, primarily within one of the midlands, north or south region, with national travel as required.
How you'll make an impact as a Driver Assessor Team Leader at Movianto:
- Conduct practical competency assessments of drivers pre-employment, post-accident and on an ongoing, annual basis.
- Conduct psychosocial competency assessments of drivers, including decision making and driver wellbeing.
- Communicate to stakeholders to give and receive information about workloads, priorities and schedules.
- Ensure robust reporting of driving assessments.
- Proactively plan annual assessments.
- Plan and prioritise requests from stakeholders following vehicle accidents and new starter selection.
- Deliver feedback and coaching to drivers and their line managers following assessments.
- Liaise with regional transport trainers to provide necessary training as determined by the findings of the assessment.
- Conduct assessments nationally, to support other regional driver assessors as required, e.g. providing holiday and sickness cover, or in at times of high demand.

Required experience, skills and education
- Experience of assessing commercial drivers
- C+e (Class 1) licence holder
- Experience of mentoring or coaching
- Competent use of Microsoft packages; Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
