Driver's Mate / Porter – Warrington
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Porter/Drivers mate to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent full-time work, and genuine long-term progression.
This position is ideal for applicants who have worked in a previous position as a Delivery Assistant, Courier or Porter.
Shifts:
• Working Monday to Friday • Start times between 05:00 and 08:00
Rates of Pay:
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Driver's mate, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting loading the vehicle each morning before starting deliveries • Assisting the driver on with 5 – 8 store deliveries and collections per day • Assist on delivering clothing, beauty, or similar products safely and efficiently • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point • Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office • Ensuring all goods are handled safely and correctly throughout the shift
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Driver's mate, you will need:
• Minimum of twelve month's drivers mate/porter experience • Reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude • Excellent communication and time management skills
Desirable Experience:
• Previous drivers mate/portering experience in a retail or logistics environment
Training Provided
• On the job training on day one
