Technology Teacher (Food Technology) – Maternity Cover

Secondary School in Birmingham – Autumn Term

A well-established and high-performing secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Technology Teacher to join the department for a maternity cover position throughout the Autumn Term. The successful candidate must be confident teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role

  • Maternity cover for the full Autumn Term
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Food Technology
  • Contribute to the wider Technology curriculum where required
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
  • Support pupils of mixed abilities to achieve strong outcomes

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
  • Confident, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Able to integrate quickly into a supportive and collaborative team
