An established and well-regarded Lloyd's Broker is seeking an experienced DUA Analyst/ Broker Technician to support the management and optimisation of Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) and binder operations. The role is inclusive of the creation of DUA Contracts, data management and analytics, bordereaux validation and acting as a key-liaison between Brokers, Coverholders and MGA's.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of delegated authority contracts and processes, data management and analytics, and London Market systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Portfolio Solutions Team, within a growing an innovative Lloyd's Broker.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain new and renewal binders, endorsements, and delegated authority documentation.
- Manage bordereaux submissions, validation, and processing in line with Lloyd's reporting standards.
- Liaise with brokers, Coverholders, and Managing Agents to ensure smooth placement and ongoing compliance.
- Resolve technical processing queries via Velonetic and maintain data quality across delegated authority portfolios.
- Produce management information and Power BI reporting to support business performance and portfolio analysis.
- Support system improvements, automation initiatives, and API/data integration projects.
- Administer key London Market platforms and ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
Skills & Experience
- 5 years +experience within a DUA, Binder Technician, Account Handler, or Delegated Authority Analyst role in the London Market for a Lloyd's Broker .
- Strong understanding of Lloyd's delegated authority processes and bordereaux reporting.
- Experience using systems such as VIPR/Intrali, DCOM, Atlas, Whitespace, Novus, or similar London Market platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI experience highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Cert CII/Dip CII (or working towards) is advantageous.
