Children's Centre within a Primary School – Islington

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently supporting a welcoming and well-established primary school in Islington, who are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their Children's Centre team.
This is a full-time opportunity within a nurturing setting for children under the age of 3, offering a supportive working environment and the potential for a longer-term position for the right candidate.
About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work across both the baby room and toddler room, supporting the wider team throughout the day wherever required.
The role involves helping to provide a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can develop through play, exploration, and positive daily interactions. You will support children's early communication, social development, independence, and wellbeing while working closely with colleagues across the setting.
Role Details
- Full-time position
- Immediate start available
- Based in Islington
- Shifts available:
- 08:00am – 04:00pm
- 09:00am – 05:00pm
- 10:00am – 06:00pm
- Pay: £17.05 – £18.05 per hour (PAYE)

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent/higher)
- Has previous Early Years experience
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable
- Works well as part of a team
- Builds positive relationships with children and families
- Is passionate about supporting children's early development
