Our client delivers expert ecology, biodiversity and environmental consultancy services across a diverse range of infrastructure, development and conservation projects throughout the UK. The role is based in Cambridge and offers exposure to a varied and rewarding project portfolio.
As an Ecologist, you'll undertake protected species and habitat surveys, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, ecological impact assessments, field data collection and technical report writing. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues, contribute to project delivery and support clients in achieving positive environmental outcomes. This Ecologist position provides excellent opportunities to develop technical expertise while working across a range of sectors. The successful Ecologist will be based from the Cambridge office with regular travel to project sites, making this an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist seeking long-term career development.

Requirements:
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Previous experience within ecological consultancy or a similar role
- Knowledge of UK habitats, protected species and relevant legislation
- Strong field survey and technical report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Able to live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
- Strong organisational and communication skills
