Educational Psychologist
Location: Gloucestershire
Rate per day: £600 per day
Working Arrangements: Face to Face assesments
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Educational Psychologist to support Gloucestershire's SEND Service.
This role will focus on providing high-quality psychological advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process, helping to ensure children and young people receive the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychological assessments and provide advice for Local Authority Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
- Produce high-quality, evidence-based psychological reports and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency professionals.
- Contribute to statutory SEND assessment processes in line with current legislation and guidance.
- Support positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND through person-centred practice.
- Attend face-to-face assessments and meetings as required.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
- Significant experience providing psychological advice for Local Authority EHCNAs.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory assessment processes.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently.
- Availability to undertake face-to-face assessments.
