Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for a EHS Advisor to join our medical device manufacturing client in Swindon, SN3.
- Full Time or Part Time hours available
- £42,000 – £47,000 pa DOE
- Office based
- Up to 10% Matching Pension

About the EHS Advisor job
- Support implementation and continual improvement of the integrated EHS management system
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation
- Assist with audits and close-out of corrective actions
- Maintain key documentation (compliance register, aspects & impacts, risk assessments)
- Deliver and coordinate EHS training, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Maintain training matrix and competency records
- Develop and maintain EHS procedures and safe systems of work
- Manage document control and support risk assessments/RAMS
- Review procedures following incidents, audits, or changes
- Lead Sustainability Team and environmental initiatives
- Drive improvements in waste, energy, and resource efficiency
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk/COSHH assessments
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
The right EHS Advisor candidate
- Previous experience in a EHS role within a manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive working knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, developing risk assessments and SSOW
- Proven background of incident management and root cause analysis
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to write, conduct and review training programmes
- Effective communicator at all levels from shop floor to stakeholders
