Your new companyYou will be working with the housing department, focused on electrical compliance. You will work with a well-established team and be required to be in the office/site 4 days a week and have a day from home. Working mon-fri, 36 hours a week. Your new roleDay to day you will complete pre-and-post inspections of electrical work and work with contractors to ensure true value for money and quality of work. You will attend sites and provide detailed reports on required electrical works. You will also manage and deliver on all electrical administration, ensuring everything falls in line with the council processes. What you'll need to succeedYou will need experience of delivering electrical housing work within the public sector, working in a similar post. You may have worked on the contractor-side, working on housing contracts previously. Due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold 2391 and 18th edition qualifications. You must be able to drive and have use of your own car. What you'll get in returnYou will receive £300 per day umbrella. This role is in scope of IR35, umbrella is the only option of pay. This is a long term temporary contract with opportunity for permanent placement at the end.
