You’ll be in charge of a small team of electricians, ensuring the quality of their electrical inspections and repairs, as well as making sure targets are being achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Countersigning certification
- Recording the results of document and site audits
- Assisting and answering any issues/questions the team have
- Reporting on team performance to ensure the smooth running of the electrical testing
- Organising and presenting toolbox talks, H&S and personnel welfare reviews
- Working closely with administrators ensuring the program of works is being adhered to
You’ll need:
- City & Guilds 2382-18 BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installation or equivalent
- C&G /2395 Inspection and Testing Certificate
- Adequate post qualification experience particularly in domestic and residential communal electrical systems
- Experience in carrying out EICR’S and any other testing required to carry out the role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with challenging situations
- A full driving licence
- Flexibility to work weekends if required with reasonable notice
